My Mother
The Love of my Life
I Believe I Adore I Hope and I Love
His Grace
Tonight I relaxed in my candlelight strawberry bath,
and as the tension just melted away...
I spoke with Him who governs my heart,
about the events of my day.
I rejoiced in all He has given me,
not only the joy but also the sorrow...
and I listened intently as He told me,
how I could walk closer to Him tomorrow.
As the candlelight was flickering about me,
shadows danced all around on the wall...
and my soul took a journey backward,
to the time when God's grace broke my fall.
Since then the road has been bumpy,
many twists and turns along the way...
but my heart knows He never left me,
His grace keeps me from going astray.
He calls me to be more like Mary than Martha,
and I just can't bear to be torn away...
So you'll find me sitting at His feet,
every moment I can through the day.
